My Policy Regarding the Use of Artificial Intelligence

I believe you have a right to know my policy regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence in the field of my writing.

1)  I do not use Artificial Intelligence in my writing.  I do not use Artificial Intelligence to “brain storm,” nor do I use it as a writing tool.  I use only the spell check that comes with the program I use for writing, which is Libre Writer, and to my knowledge is not AI.  I do not use any grammar program of any kind, including AI.  If I have a question about grammar, I have two extensive grammar books I consult and if I can’t find what I’m looking for there, I will search on the StartPage Browser to find the grammar rule I’m looking for.  I use the StartPage Browser to find a good thesaurus and I have a large paperback thesaurus, as well, which I use.  And, if I have any doubt about the spelling of a word, I will look it up using the StartPage Browser.

2)  I use real people to edit and to proof my books, nor do these people use any AI to help them with editing.  I personally do not use AI to edit my books.  Only real people edit and proof my books.  At present I use three different people to proof my writing.

3)  I use a cover artist for the covers of my books.  To my knowledge my cover artist does use AI in order to help paint details on a cover.  She has images she uses that are not AI (there is a program that has real people’s images) and she will use AI to help paint in scenery.  But the covers are not generated by AI.
